In the competitive world of hospitality marketing, it’s essential to position your restaurant uniquely and effectively reach your target audience. Restaurant branding is all about creating recognizable content that resonates with guests and encourages repeat visits. A well-thought-out restaurant marketing strategy helps attract new guests, increase online visibility and foster guest loyalty. In this case, we showcase how we implemented a data-driven approach for Madunia, a high-end restaurant in Ibiza, to strike the perfect balance between branding and reservations and achieve the desired objectives.

Challenge

The goal was to establish Madunia’s presence, create online engagement, and generate reservations. With Ibiza’s large selection of high-end dining options, the challenge was to inspire potential guests by highlighting the unique location, refined menu and exceptional guest experience—all within the existing brand identity. However, at the start of the project, it was unclear which online marketing channels would be the most effective and where the target audience was located.

solution

To validate our assumptions, we adopted a data-driven approach.We mapped the entire reservation flow via Cover Manager to measure every detail of the process and gather purchase data. This implementation was carried out using Google Analytics 4, combined with TikTok and Meta pixels. Within just two weeks of campaign data, valuable insights emerged, revealing that Instagram delivered the best results.


We launched various marketing campaigns on TikTok and Instagram, targeting awareness, engagement and remarketing. These campaigns reached travelers heading to Ibiza, introduced them to Madunia, and encouraged them to make a reservation once they arrived on the island.
